10-50 Extra Light 80/20 Bronze

$10.63
80/20 Bronze wound strings are often called old-school, vintage and/or bright bronze and were the most popular (only) alloy used to make acoustic strings until the introduction of phosphor in the early Seventies. 80/20 bronze wire is made from 80 percent copper and 20 percent zinc. 80/20 bronze provides balanced highs and lows with a slight increase in mid-range that seems the make the notes cut-through a little more.

Curt Mangan 80/20 bronze strings

Best 80/20 bronze strings I have ever used. Great full sounding strings, great mids. Very playable and long lasting. I would not put anything else on my acustics.

I tried these strings on my mahogany top and back acoustic. They brought out the overtones in the wood that were never apparent with others I tried. The sustain I noticed was most pleasing amd I got good reviews from my band mates the first time they heard it after restringing. I bought a few more sets to strinng my other acoustic to see if they would show the same increase in sound quality and keep one for next stringing. Thank you Curt Mangan!

I have been known to sin and use electric strings on a 1970s Ovation so it plays more like an electric. These strings fit the bill perfectly, and I love em!
