Phosphor bronze wire is made from approximately 92% copper, 7% zinc and 1% phosphorous. Phosphor Bronze provides nice highs and lows, as well as pleasant subtle overtones. Phosphorous is used to help reduce tarnish and corrosion.

Curt Magnan has given me the opportunity to review my favorite strings for my Guild Westerly D140. And I am jumping on that invitation. Harmonics, sustain, dynamics and the ability to bend are all ear pleasing. Projection allows the guitar to cut through when jamming with others. These strings last as well as sounding better as they age adding fuller sounding bass and softer but clear midrange. The top end doesnt change as the set ages. Great sounding throughout the lifespan. My go to set. Highly recommended.

I put these on my octavius bouzouki and they sound fantastic! I have only had them on for a couple of weeks, but they are perfect.

The best sounding acoustic string, period! The strings have an almost "blooming" quality when strummed. The sound has a great balance and excellent projection. To top it off, the feel of the strings is good, to boot. Highly recommended!

All about the tone and feel

I am a former electric lead player who now plays more acoustic. The traditional light fit my "lead" style of playing perfectly. Playing a beautiful old Martin D28, the brightness perfectly balances the great big "bottom" sound of my guitar. Lastly, nothing ha a better feel than a new set of these strings. I am a fan for life!
