9 - 42 nickel wound set
Trying a lighter Guage for a Gibson LP Special wrap around bridge. Was worried the Guage wouldn't hold up tone wise, but they react perfectly to Greg Koch Fishman Fluence P-90 set.

Hooked
These were the very first strings i ever tried from Curt Mangan 4 years ago and i have been hooked on them ever since. These strings were recommended to me to try and i was not disappointed. I found them to have a great sound and be of high quality. Over the past few years that i have used Curt Mangan strings i have noticed they tend to be fresher right out of the pack than some other top brands i have used.

These 9's are comfortable, reasonably priced, and sound good on my Bullet Strats. Glad I tried them!
My only strings
I have been using Curt Mangan 10.5-48 strings for a few years now, simply because they were one of only two manufacturers who offered this gauge. I play drop eb tunings in my band, and 10.5-48 give me the same tension as 10-46 in standard tuning. I have been so happy with these strings that I decided to use them on all my guitars - 9-42 on my 25.5 scale guitars, and 10-46 on my 24.75 scale guitars. These strings are my goto strings on everything now. They sound fantastic and have a punchier sound than other strings. They feel as slick as a coated string, and are priced right in the middle. I have never broken a CM string. I will continue to use these on all my guitars as I am extremely pleased and I have tried EVERY string manufacturer out there.
Outstanding
As a 66 year old Rocker/ Fusion player I put these strings on my Jackson DK@ Pro. The Seymour Ducan pickups woke up. Bright highs and tight mids tones, and not over whelming bass. tune quickly and great for a Floyd Rose bridge.

Great Tele Tone
These strings have crazy good tone on my Tele. Most strings you can't really tell the difference, but with these you can.
