Loop End Signature Set
Gauges: 11.5 -11.5 - 16 - 16 - 26W - 26w - 40 - 40
I like the Irv Pearman set,. The hefty E string (11.5) is really great, although I wish the G string was a .41. They compare to J75's but I like them better. They don't sound as bright right after you put them on. They sound played in almost right away, and stay in tune better than any other strings that I have played. I play this exclusively for Bluegrass and get a fantastic sound on my Duff and my BRW both.
Long lasting, warm and rich tones. I love Curt Mangan mandolin strings.
My Mangan strings are perfect. They settle in quickly and stay in tune forever. Also they sound great right out of the packs and last and last. I have tried many strings but Mangan are the best.
I have used CM mandolin strings for over a year now and really like the way they sound on my Eastman. I'm a fan for life. I can always depend on great sound when I on stage or just sitting on the couch.
I just hotrodded my Washburn mandolin (new frets, tuners, bridge) and made sure that I gave my luthier a set of Curt Mangan to show off the work. The strings didn't disappoint me.
