Curt Mangan 10-42 Custom String set
I finally had a chance to use this string set and am very impressed! They sound great, they didn't need a while lot of stretching, just a little bit right after putting them on. They stay in tune great and have really good tone. I like this set because it gives a bit more girth on the treble strings and a bit less on the bass which is great for my bluesy Tele.
Back in the day
Through my 51 years of playing I have tried different brands of strings. Boomers, Ernie's, and others. When I tried Curt's strings instantly I heard the difference. Very bright loud and precise, construction is great and customer service and fast shipping.
Guitar strings
I put a set of Mangan strings on my Waylon Fender Custom Shop Telecaster and could now believe the depth of sound the guitar makes now. Before I put the new strings on I didn't think the telecaster could sound any better. I was wrong. It sounds great and the strings seem to stay in tune longer.
