Our factory is located in Cortez, Colorado USA and we build over 700 boutique, premium quality single strings and upwards of 300 packaged sets for acoustic, electric and classical guitar, acoustic and electric bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, bajo sexto and quinto, plus other instruments.

We are also the world's leader in providing our customers custom gauged guitar and bass string sets with personalized labels.  

We are a "small company' dedicated to making great strings with "big tone" and we believe in proudly building only hand-crafted strings in small batches.

Curt has over 50-years of history with the guitar and nearly 40-years experience in the string industry. He still plays and records professionally. Curt's latest album, "Here I Am" which was released in July of 2018 on 19Bars Records in Vienna Austria can be heard on all the streaming sites, including Spotify, Apple Music, Etc. 

His experience goes beyond string making including owning music stores, building and repairing guitars, teaching lessons and he was Director of Sales and Marketing for one of the world’s largest string companies for seventeen years. Curt has worked directly with many of the world's most recognizable artists.
