Better sound than the previously using

These are wonderful strings and I love buying from a small business where it is immediately obvious they really care, are quick with your order, and want to make a great product. I have a "difficult" main guitar... ie, it's an amazing Taylor that plays beautifully and is really warm for a Taylor. But, unfortunately is still always a little too bright/piercing while recording. Give these 4-5 stars because they are some of the most balanced, woody sounding strings I have ever played. They really bring out the naturally body of the guitar and give you that bottom/top feel without a ton of middle coloration. That said, still have a lot of high end "sheen/shimmer" to them which won't be my go-to strings for a warm song-writer tone while recording. If you have similar issues, might want to try the monels (haven't tried MAnagn's yet) or some other specialty string. Long story short, would definitely recommend these strings!

I've tried several of the big name brands of true mediums. These strings don't require much play in at all to sound good (other than letting them settle in overnight) and hold a well-balanced tone longer than any other string I've tried. Just the right balance of sparkle and full body tone.

Beautiful bright tones balanced out perfectly with warm lows on the E string. Durable and reliable to stay in tune perfectly!
