Phosphor Bronze wound strings were introduced in the early Seventies and have become the most popular acoustic string. Phosphor bronze wire is made from approximately 92% copper, 7% zinc and 1% phosphorous. Phosphor Bronze provides nice highs and lows, as well as pleasant subtle overtones. Phosphorous is used to help reduce tarnish and corrosion.

True Medium round core Phosphor Bronze Acoustic guitar strings

Since I play in drop tunings, these string sets are the perfect gauges for my guitars. I no longer havve to mix & match sets or order custom sets of singles because the gauges are ideal in the true medium set. he round core prvides excellent sustain. Terrific sound whether unplugged or plugged in.
