12-16-24W-32-44-54 Lenth 43 inches. Phosphor Bronze wound strings were introduced in the early Seventies and have become the most popular acoustic string. Phosphor bronze wire is made from approximately 92% copper, 7% zinc and 1% phosphorous. Phosphor Bronze provides nice highs and lows with pleasant subtle overtones. Phosphorous is used to help reduce tarnish and corrosion.
Our in house coating blend was designed to preserve the life of the strings and deter corrosion. The coating was composed in a way to preserve the original sound and feel of the strings.
Thanks to David Starr for bringing your products to my attention. I just bought a new guitar and wanted a bit more bass response, so I went with Medium Light, and they are great. These coated strings seem to be easier on my fingers than the Elixir or D'Addario. Well done.
So far, so good ...give me a month and I’ll redo my rating...
First of all the tone, the reliabilty, and the longevity of the coated sets by Curt are second to none. All 6 of my guitars, 3 Acoustic and 3 Electric are sporting various gauges and materials. Have talked to Curt over the phone a few times and always courteous and a pro...more important, he knows his stuff!
