Phosphor bronze round core custom

Curt Mangan is my new favorite brand of acoustic guitar strings. Not too bright like sunbeams and slightly less projection than others I have used. They have a sweet played in tone, not as zingy as other newly installed strings and to my ears, that's a good thing. Their lifespan is average and reasonable.

i put these on my guitar and it was like i was amplified! my house mate told me to play softer cause it was late. besides the great tone they seem to last and hold their tone. i couldnt be happier. thank you Kurt!!

I have been exclusivly using Curt Mangan guitar strings on all my acoustics, electrics, and resonator. They are absolutely consistent and have the"feel" I look for. In addition, they sound excellent, and stand up well to gigging abuse. The pure nickles are a favorite for slide work for me. I have had the pleasure of speaking with Curt a couple of times... Very nice person and very helpful.
