Awesome customer service, great tone, reasonable price and great durability.
The headline for this review pretty much sums up my experience with Curt Mangan strings. Curt's customer service is top notch and he will go out of his way to make his customers happy. I really like these strings, they provide a very nice and balanced tone, I really like that the highs are very crisp, but not harsh sounding. As far as durability goes, they last just as long as any other good string out there. I have Curt Mangans on all three of my guitars, a Gretsch Power Jet, Thinline Tele w/ P90s and a Strat. What I really like about these strings is that they help bring out all the character of each different type of pickup that I use. If you are second guessing yourself as to whether you should try Curt's strings or not, I'd say go for it, you won't regret it.

I recently picked up a Reeves Gabrels II guitar from Reverend. Reeves personally uses this same guitar as it comes stock, and his only mod is changing the strings that normally ship with Reverend to Curt Mangan strings. Believe it or not, they make a huge difference. They're bright, bold, and big sounding. I then replaced my Ernie Ball Cobalt 10s on several other guitars, and lighting struck each and every time. I have since gifted several friends with a set for their guitars, and now they're believers too. Thank you Curt Mangan!
