Curt mangan strings are great. I got the Jim root jazzmaster and got the same string gauges as Jim root from curt and their customer service is great, they answered all my questions promptly and had the string out to me very quickly. Definitely recommend some curt mangan.

Mangan put together a custom gauge set for my Duesenberg that they do not have available. I put them on and noticed a much more vibrant tone. Feel is smooth and quiet, no dirt on the fingers! Now I have strings for this rare beauty! Planning on putting them on my other guitars.

Mangans are awesome, they feel like fresh EBs but last much longer. Had a set on for a month before replacing, only swapped them out to change gauges

I've played for 60 years and I've tried them all, literally. The CM nickel wounds have the best bell like tone and sustain of all brands I've used and they LAST. Try these. I think you'll be very pleased with the sustain and tone of CM nickel wounds.

I love Curt Mangan Strings. I did a custom set for my Schecter Hellriser in C# standard. Excellent tension. No too loose but tight enough. Bottom End is tight and punchy. This strings are not for everyone. Tension is a bit tighter than other strings. More than Daddario that I used to play with. But perfect for me. I’m a bit intense with my playing and I tend to over bend. CM strings have tamed my rough fingers. Never going back to anything else. Give them a try.

I've been playing for nearly 40 years and can say these are without any doubt the best strings I have ever used (I've been using CM for about 3 years now). Simply put, they last longer, stay brighter and I have never broken one. Being able to make up custom sets is a nice touch too.

I've never done custom gauged strings before but wanted to do two experiments, first going with a properly defined set of strings with balanced tension and also to go to a lighter gauge to do some personal tone tests. The strings sound and feel great and the only downside is that I will have to order more.
