In one word, MAGIC!!! Gauges are 9.5-12.5-18-26-38-48. Highs sparkle with extreme control and range on bends which are smooth as silk. Mids cut through the mix without stepping on the vocals, and bottom end is big and articulate without a trace of mud... They play like a dream and even our music director commented how much he loved my tone the first time I played them at rehearsal! One other word: Transformative! You will LOVE these strings!!!

I really like the feel of these strings. I have played Ernie B and D'Add strings for decades and these strings really sound amazing! But the feel of the wound strings was unexpected and addictive. Buy them!

The Curt Mangan nickelwound strings are my favorite strings to play. I love the freedom offered with the customized sets. Before I would have to buy three sets of strings just to get the gauge combo that I wanted. These strings provide an easy solution to that problem. I will definitely be buying again!

Perfect Strings

I love that I can custom make a set (I like 9.5, 12.5, 16.5, 26, 36, 48), it really suits my playing style--country with a twist of blues and rock. They last longer than the “usual” name brands too. Other strings I've used die halfway thru a gig in the Texas humidity, but these strings will go two full gigs and still probably be okay--I just change them out of habit. Been using these a solid 2 months (1-2 gigs a week, play everyday), and have not broken a string yet. I recommend these to anyone and everyone.
