Nickel-Plated Steel wound strings were introduced in the late Sixties and have become the most popular alloy for electric guitars and bass. Nickel-plated steel tends to offer the most balanced tone.
Best strings that I have ever played, use them on all my guitars. Best
Love the sound and playability of these strings... Highly recommended!
These strings are great. I placed them on my Strat and the offer a nice, full tone. Going from 10s to 11s was not an issue. I added another tremolo spring and everything worked great!
These are the best string I have put on my Telecaster. Feel, tone, and flexibility are all top notch. And they cost half as much as the strings I used to buy! A dream.
These strings play great and stay in tune very well. This is my first time trying your strings and I will continue with them in the future!! Thanks so much for a great product!
Fantastic strings - survive three hour gigs over and over and keep bright, never broken a string!!
As a guitarist for 45+ years, I’ve tried all of the different brands of strings out there until recently when I became almost obsessed with how certain blues artist were able to get such great tone. And Matt Schofield’s tone was no exemption. Even having a great guitar, amp and pedals, these strings round out the equation of getting great tone. Very well balanced and they feel just right.
