These strings feel great to play. They are 11s but bend easily, and feel much lighter. They do have a different tone to other strings and add fender sparkle and spank.

You know when strings have mojo when they bring something sweet to your tone and sound. I ahve been playing for more than 40 years of classic rock and blues. I was turned on to Matt Schofield's signature set by my introduction to his playing and tone. Now I know what gives Matt the great tone and articulation: Curt's strings! I placed them on my SRV tribute strat and I was in bliss for several hours! These strings have a sweet midrang and vintage tone. Big sound and clear. When I engage my Tubescreamers they sing with a voice of their own. This is the best strings I've ever played, and I have played them all! They last and last in tone and stay in tune, even after much bending from solos! So, you need to try them for yourself and see how the magic works for you! Cheers to Curt and to Matt!

These strings are just awesome,seriously !!!Nice fat tone, easy to bend just heavy enogh for blues and jazz,I've been using them for about a year now,these are my main strings,but I only use CM strings anyway,they just got very nice balance period..highly recommended not to mention these guys are super nice at CM,so don't wait give them a try you will be hooked...Sincerly Miklos...

I've been using D'Addario heavy gauge rounds on my Strats for years, and thought I'd never use another brand. I heard Schofield mention Mangan strings in an interview, and I like Matt's sound, so I thought I'd give his signature set a try as the gauges are close to what I've been using. Wow, what a difference. Full, round bass with clarity, and the treble strings really sing and sustain. I recommend this set for Strats, and am glad to be the first to leave feedback here.
